Uber for Ambulances: On Demand Mobile Medical Care Apps

uber for ambulanceNot to be confused with Uber for doctors, Uber for ambulances is a tad bit…urgent. And as a result, is probably not ideal if urgent, life saving care is need. However, as with most industries, if there is a way to privatize and improve an industry, no matter how sacrosanct or off limits it might seem, something will spring up.

And below are two on-demand Uber for X ambulance services which technically fit the mold of Uber for ambulances, but don’t really replace actual U.S.-based hospital ambulance services.

Stat: On Demand Ambulance/Medical Care

At Stat, you can find on-demand medical care, doctors, companionship and medical transport services with just a push of a button. You can get a CAN, Doctor, HHA, or medical transport is just a few minutes for your loved ones.

Stanplus: On-Demand Ambulance

Stanplus is currently only available in Hyderabad, which is the capital of the southern Indian state of Telangana and de jure capital of Andhra Pradesh. Stanplus service providers offer central dispatching services, which means they send out private ambulance and provides immediate tracking the patient and for everyone in the emergency medical professionals.

The Stanplus service provides private ambulances with intuitive and “an efficient fleet executive system”. This process expands the service capacity and helps more patients at a time.

Stanplus is more than just an ambulance service provider; it is presently managing the largest fleet of ambulances in various cities.  You can contact them at any time, within few minutes they will send a quality ambulance to save the life.

Uber for Ambulance?

As you can see from the two apps above, there really is no official or even unofficial uber for ambulance style service. Except for Uber of course. Much has been written about people using Uber as a faster version of ambulance service. Obviously that is not an ideal situation, but if you know Uber to be a faster service than a proper ambulance, than that is your decision to make.
