The ground rules for using this website. Short version: it is information, not advice.

By using startupsnofilter.com (the “Site”), operated by Solomon Wiesen, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. What the Site is. An informational publication about small business and startup financing. We are not a bank, a lender, a broker, a law firm or an advisor, and nothing on the Site is an offer of credit or a promise of approval. Our Disclaimer is part of these Terms.
2. Eligibility. The Site is for adults 18 or older seeking information for business purposes.
3. Your submissions. If you submit a form, you confirm that the information is accurate, that it is yours or you are authorized to provide it, and that any phone number you enter belongs to you. You must not submit someone else’s details.
4. Third-party providers. Any financing is between you and the provider. We are not a party to, and are not responsible for, any provider’s offers, contracts, conduct, fees or collection practices. We may be compensated by a financing partner, as explained in our advertiser disclosure.
5. Accuracy. We work to keep guides accurate and current, but financing rules, rates and program terms change. Figures and examples are illustrative. Check current terms with the provider or the relevant agency before you rely on them.
6. Acceptable use. Do not scrape, copy or republish Site content without permission, interfere with the Site, submit false information or use the Site for unlawful purposes.
7. Our content. The articles, tools and design on the Site belong to Solomon Wiesen unless noted and are protected by copyright. You may share links and quote short excerpts with a link back to the source. Please ask before republishing anything in full.
8. No warranty. The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Solomon Wiesen will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or business, arising from your use of the Site, its content or any provider. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed $100.
10. Indemnity. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Solomon Wiesen from claims arising from your misuse of the Site, your submissions or your breach of these Terms.
11. Disputes. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved by binding individual arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, and you waive the right to participate in a class action or class arbitration. You may opt out of arbitration by writing to us through our contact page within 30 days of first using the Site. Either party may bring a qualifying claim in small claims court.
12. Changes. We may update these Terms by posting a new version with a new effective date. Continued use of the Site means you accept the changes.
13. Severability. If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
